Our dream is to help you and your students do more with the music they love, and to attract more students to participate in the great arts and athletic programs taking in our schools.
Thousands of public and private schools already look to GIA for high-quality music education resources, and together we are proud to support today’s music licensing and copyright permissions needs for K-12 schools.
Our priority is to enable schools to showcase their programs by granting permission to record and stream a wide range of school events that include music. At the same time, we affordably ensure that authors, composers, and publishers receive the appropriate royalties for their work.
With School Music License, LLC, you are joining a community of dedicated music teachers, music directors, school administrators, dance choreographers, coaches, and volunteers who care deeply about supporting their students and the artists whose music they enjoy.
Our Annual Basic License allows you to stream school concert performances, marching band performances, recitals, pep rallies, and other short-form performances with cleared permissions on any of the leading streaming platforms (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and your school’s own website). You can even print song lyrics in a school program. And if you want to include recordings from the leading record labels in your streams of a dance recital, gymnastics meet, or football game, you can add the Master Track / Recording Bundle Label option to your Annual Basic License.
School Music License offers thousands of titles from the world’s largest publishing houses and record labels. Our online database is comprehensive and user-friendly. Search right on our home page to see if a song is included.
